Diners of Rockland County

Here's a photogallery of the diners of Rockland County. To be included here, a diner must walk the walk and talk the talk. For example, the old Blauvelt Diner walks the walk (it was purpose-built and designed as a diner), but it doesn't talk the talk (as of this writing, it is a sushi restaurant). By contrast, neither the Nyack Diner nor the Pearl River Diner walks the walk (they were not purpose-built and designed as diners), but they talk the talk (they are functioning as diners). The new Hogan's establishments fall into the this latter category as well. None of these is included here. There used to be a very traditional diner in downtown Spring Valley, but that, alas, was razed years ago. If you have any historical or anecdotal information you'd like to share, I welcome your contributions.

Color is hyper-saturated to heighten the gleam! The glitz! The glamour!
